You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
Driving after receiving a massage can be dangerous, not to mention annoying since you just got relaxed! Don't worry, I've got your back and will come to you!
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
I first became interested in massage therapy when I was very young. I had spent many Sundays in church keeping myself busy by scratching my family's backs. In middle school, I gave my version of a back massage to a friend's aunt, who was a massage therapist. She told me I had very strong hands and a lot of potential for someone so young. After that, I was single minded about becoming a massage therapist myself! I made sure that a therapist was brought in for Career Day and looked into schools across the country. After debating between staying in Omaha, where I grew up; Denver, which would be similar to Omaha; or Phoenix, which would be something completely different from everything I knew, I settled on Phoenix. Upon completing my program in 2006, I moved back home. I worked for a time at Beauty Brands and also rented space from a chiropractor. In 2009, I married my amazing husband and when we had our first daughter in 2010, I put massage on hold. Being a mom became my biggest priority and with girls 2 and 3, massage was pushed more and more to the back burner. It was always in my heart, though. Now that all 3 girls are in school full time, it's time to get back to my first love. I'm very much looking forward to sharing my passion with you!
